A-Series gliding patio door units are handed from the exterior of the home. The unit is handed based on the location of the operating patio door panel.

A-Series gliding patio door panels are handed as the same as the unit. For example, if the unit is right-handed (shown above, with the operating panel located on the right side of the patio door unit) the patio door panels will be handed operating right and stationary right.

A-Series gliding patio door exterior handles and exterior keyed locks are handed the same as the unit. Interior handles are handed opposite of the unit. Exterior keyed locks for 4-panel gliding patio doors are considered left-handed. Interior Gliding insect screens, rollers, and interlock weatherstrip (located between the stationary and operating door panels) are not handed.
