The Andersen® 100 Series gliding window uses rollers to open and close. Adjusting the gliding window sash's rollers will keep the window working smoothly and may also resolve any operational issues.


Adjust Window Sashes on Andersen® 100 Series Gliding Windows

For information about how to adjust the rollers on your 100 Series gliding window's active window sash, the window that opens first, follow the instructions below.

Adjust the Rollers

To adjust the rollers, you will have to remove the active window sash from the frame to see the rollers on the bottom of the window sash.

  1. To remove the active window sash, follow steps one (1) through three (3) on Page 1 and Page 2 in the Sash and/or Roller Replacement Guide for Andersen® 100 Series Gliding Windows (9000598). Opens in a New Browser Tab
  2. To adjust the rollers, follow steps one (1) through two (2) at the bottom of Page 2, in the guide above.
  3. Reinstall the window sash by following the window removal steps in reverse. 

 

There are two adjustment options, low and high, as seen in the images below.
