Andersen® inswing and outswing patio doors have receivers that help with weatherstrip compression, allowing locks to engage and latch properly. Each receiver has tabs on it that may require occasional adjustments.
How to Adjust Tabs on Hinged Inswing and Outswing Patio Doors
When your patio door locks are activated, they will bump against the tabs in the receivers. You can adjust them to draw the patio door toward the frame for a tighter seal, or away from the frame for a too-tight seal.

Location of Tabs on Receivers
Patio door receivers are located inside the door jamb, the pieces forming the top and sides of a patio door frame, or the astragal, the post that separates two (2) door panels on 2-panel or 3-panel hinged patio doors.
