Andersen® inswing and outswing patio doors may require tab adjustments to achieve optimum weatherstrip compression and allow for lock mechanism engagement and proper latching. The tabs are located in the patio door jamb or astragal. When the locks are activated they will butt against the tabs in the receivers, which then draw the patio door toward the frame for a tighter seal, or away from the frame for a too-tight seal.
