Gliding patio doors with four (4) door panels sharing a single frame have a special weatherstrip where the operating patio door panels meet. The operating door panel on the left (as viewed from the exterior of the home) has an astragal applied to it. This astragal contains a weatherstrip unique to four (4) panel patio door units.
The operating panel on the left is the right-handed operating panel. For additional assistance with 4-panel gliding patio door handing, see 400 Series Frenchwood® Gliding Patio Door and Replacement Part Handing.
The astragal weatherstrip consists of an inside-facing and outside-facing piece. These pieces may be ordered separately.
