Clean Andersen® windows or patio doors regularly to keep your wood and Flexacron® finishes looking like new. Please follow the steps below for cleaning wood and Flexacron® surfaces.

Cleaning Wood and Flexacron® Surfaces

 

Tools / Supplies Needed

Safety Glasses

TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate) - available at any hardware store

Soft, Dry Cloth

Clean Water

Sand Paper

Wood Stain / Paint

 

Instructions

Use TSP following the manufacturer's guidelines. Any mold or mildew should wipe away easily and restore the appearance of your product. Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water.

 

Sand and re-stain wood surfaces or re-paint to obtain the desired appearance. Finishing instructions can be found in Painting and Staining Information.

 

If a product is experiencing condensation, there is a chance mold or mildew may occur on the surface. See the following articles for more information on condensation.
