Full Divided Light (FDL)

Grilles are permanently applied to both the interior and exterior glass surfaces, with an aluminum spacer bar between the panes. This style offers the most authentic divided light appearance and must be ordered with the window or door unit; it cannot be added later.

Full Divided Light with Energy Spacer

Similar to FDL, this option includes a narrow energy spacer bar that minimizes heat and cold transfer to the interior surface, improving thermal performance. Products will have the same U-Factor, SHGC and visible transmission as they would with simulated divided light grilles.

Simulated Divided Light (SDL)

Grilles are permanently applied to the exterior glass surface. The interior grille can be either permanently applied or removable. This style does not include a spacer bar between the glass panes.

Simulated Divided Light with Removable Interior Grilles

Combines a permanent exterior grille with a removable interior grille, allowing for easier cleaning while maintaining a traditional appearance.

Removable Interior Grilles

These grilles are attached to the room-side glass surface using fasteners or grille clips and can be easily removed for cleaning. They do not include an exterior grille or a spacer bar.

Finelight™ Grilles-Between-the-Glass

Grilles are suspended between the panes of glass during manufacturing, making windows and doors easy to clean. This style must be ordered with the unit and cannot be added later. The sculpted profile and two-sided color scheme match both the interior and exterior finishes.

Finelight™ Grilles-Between-the-Glass with Exterior Grilles

Available on select products, this style combines between-the-glass grilles with permanently applied exterior grilles for added architectural detail and style.

Color

The exterior grille will match the exterior color of your Andersen® product. The interior grille is available in prefinished white, natural wood or (if available) stained to match the interior finish.
