Identifying and Installing Grille Fasteners for Removable Interior Grilles on Andersen® Windows and Doors

Start by examining your current grille, especially at the ends. Pay close attention to the shape of the clips, the material they’re made from, and how they are positioned. This inspection will help you identify a compatible replacement.

Next, inspect the material surrounding the glass, as it plays a crucial role in determining fastener compatibility. Look at the window or door frame to determine the type of surface the grille attaches to. You may find vinyl surfaces near the glass or wood stops and frames that the grille clips into. Understanding the installation surface will help you select the right type of fastener.

The grille pattern also affects fastener selection. A standard grille pattern may use a different fastener than a custom grille pattern.

If you're unsure which fastener to choose, please refer to the installation guides, images, and web links provided below. If you still need assistance after reviewing the information, Contact Andersen® Windows and Doors for personalized support. Providing photos of your existing grille and frame can help ensure you receive the correct match.
