Primed awning windows were manufactured from 1952 - 1979 and had a wood finish on both the interior and exterior. Different operators were used on primed awning windows depending on the date the window was manufactured. To determine the vintage of your window unit, locate the Andersen® Glass Code
. The glass code etchings were implemented on dual-pane glass in 1952.
To determine the replacement operator required for your primed awning window, compare the operator currently installed in your window to the images below.
