Let's Get Started
1. Order Parts
Order the head and sill foam plugs individually. To order a replacement head or sill plug, Contact Andersen® Windows and Doors.
Note:
- Replacement head plugs are ordered by the door's vintage and are universally handed.
- You will need to know the handing of your patio door unit to order the correct replacement sill plug.
- If you're replacing plugs, we also recommend replacing the interlock weatherstrip. For more information on the interlock weatherstrip, see Interlock Weatherstrip for 400 and 200 Series Gliding Patio Doors.
2. Install Parts
To replace the head and sill plugs, remove the operating patio door panel and interlock weatherstrip using the Interlock Weatherstrip Replacement Guide (9131890).
The head plugs are installed with an adhesive back, while the sill plug requires instant adhesive. For installation assistance, Contact Andersen® Windows and Doors.
