Install Hinges on Andersen® Hinged Insect Screens for Patio Doors
Each insect screen panel will have either two (2) or three (3) hinge assemblies, depending on the height of the patio door unit. Ordering and replacement instructions are below.
Hinge assemblies are made up of three (3) components:
The upper hinge leaf, which connects to the insect screen door panel.
The lower hinge leaf, which connects to the door frame.
A pin, which is inserted through the two (2) leaves and holds the insect screen hinge assembly together.

1. Order Parts
On the Andersen Parts Store, you can order a completehinge hardware package,or individual parts like theupper leaf hinge,lower leaf hinge,orhinge pin.The hardware package comes with everything needed to replace all of the hinges and its parts for the insect screen.
2. Install Parts
To replace the hinges on Andersen® hinged insect screen panels, follow the instructions provided in the YouTube® video and installation guides below.
Note: When reinstalling the hinge, use the existing hole. If the existing holes are enlarged, follow the manufacturer's instructions to fill them with Bondo® filler, Quickwood® epoxy putty, or fiberglass body filler.
