Hurricanes and tropical storms, including storm surges, may result in your Andersen® window or door being submerged, coated, covered, saturated or underwater for any amount of time.
Weather events such as hurricanes or tropical storms may exceed the published performance ratings for Andersen® products. Window and door products that may have been submerged, coated, covered, saturated or underwater during or following such an event may have the potential to bow, warp, experience glass seal failures and suffer wood damage, including but not limited to rotting, mold and peeling. Even if the Andersen product initially appears to be undamaged, future product damage could result from moisture trapped inside the components of the products. Such product damage would be outside the terms of the Andersen® Owner-2-Owner® Limited Warranty 
as it could be related to the hurricane, tropical storm or storm surge incident.
