Our 200 Series Perma-Shield® Narroline® Double-Hung Window and 400 Series Tilt-Wash Double-Hung Full-Frame Window, the grille tip on a 3/4" interior removable grille is designed to fit behind the keeper, the locking hardware on the upper sash. If the grille tip is not fitting behind the keeper, you may have older hardware, prior to 1994, that is not compatible with your grille. To resolve this issue, replace the lock and keeper with the current hardware. Updating the hardware will allow the grille to fit properly behind the keeper.
