Hinged inswing patio door units are handed from the exterior of the home. They are handed based on the location of the hinges on the door panel. The image below shows the view of the inswing patio door from the exterior of the home.

200 Series inswing patio door exterior handles and hinges
are handed the same as the unit. Interior handles are handed opposite of the unit.
200 Series inswing patio doors have a single point or three (3) point lock mechanism depending on the configuration of the door. Single point lock mechanisms
are handed the same as the unit and three (3) point lock mechanisms
may require a lock-latch adjustment; see Change Lock's Handing on Andersen® Hinged Patio Door.
Gliding
and hinged
insect screens, exterior keyed locks and weatherstrip
are not handed. (Gliding insect screens can only be used on double-door units with one stationary and one active door panel).
