Andersen® Perma-Shield® gliding patio door units are handed from the exterior of the home using the location of the operating patio door panel. If the operating patio door panel is on the left as viewed from the outside of the home, the unit is a left-handed unit. If the unit is left-handed, the patio door panels are ordered as operating left and stationary left.

Replacement Part Handing
Perma-Shield® gliding patio door Exterior Handles , Frame or Jamb Weatherstrip and Exterior Keyed Locks are handed the same as the unit. Interior handles are handed opposite of the unit.
