Installation

Flat Head Screwdriver

Replacement Dual-Arm Operator

Follow the steps below for installing the operator:

Unlock and open the sash. Place the wood block between the sill and bottom of the sash for support.

Unfold the operator handle, and loosen the set screw with the screwdriver. Keep the set screw and handle for later use.

Loosen the operator cover with the screwdriver. Remove and save for later use.

Remove the operator arm from the bracket below the sash.

Unscrew the base of the operator from the sill, pull the operator out of the frame, and discard.

Insert the new operator onto the sill, and screw in the base of the operator to the sill.

Reattach the operator arm to the bracket under the sash.

Reattach the operator cover, placing the cover back on the body of the operator.

Reattach the handle and the set screw. Insert the handle in the nested position, as shown in the first illustration below. Using the screwdriver, screw the handle back into place with the set screw.

Remove the wood block.
