Andersen® 200 Series Perma-Shield® Narroline® double-hung windows use balancers in the upper left-hand and upper right-hand corners of the unit frame. The balancers assist in keeping the window sashes in place.

Replacement Parts

Replace both balancers to maintain identical tension between the left and right side of the sash. It may also be necessary to replace jamb liners, which can become fragile over time. Consider replacing all four (4) jamb liners: head, right upper, right lower and left. To order double-hung parts related to replacement balancers, choose from the links below.
