Andersen® 200 Series Perma-Shield® Narroline® double-hung windows use two (2) balancers in the upper left-hand and upper right-hand corners of the frame to hold the window sash in place. The jamb liners will need to be removed to access the balancers.

The jamb liners are made of vinyl and line both sides and the top of the interior of the unit frame. The jamb liners are the interior surfaces the window sash slides along with being raised or lowered. To replace the balancers, the lower right-hand jamb liner and head jamb liner on the Perma-Shield® Narroline® double-hung window must also be replaced. Follow the instructions provided in the YouTube® video and written instructions below. If you need assistance to identify your window type, visit our Identify Your Product Guided Help Pathway .
