Note: Some degree of bowing or warping is normal and will not affect the grille's performance.

• Heavy, level object (for example, a large book or cast iron pan)

Straighten Interior Removable Grilles

1. Remove the interior grille.
   • For information on removing grilles from windows and patio doors, see Identifying and Installing Grille Fasteners for Removable Interior Grilles on Andersen® Windows and Doors.
2. Lay the grille on a flat, clean surface.
3. Completely cover with a level weight.
4. Leave the weight on for a few days, preferably 48 hours, in a warm area with sunlight exposure.

Note: Successful removal of the bowing and warping will depend upon temperature, humidity levels, and the degree of the bow.
