HeatLock Glass Logo

If the glass logo includes "HeatLock™", abrasive cleaners such as CRL® Silicone Remover and Surface Preparation - Part Number SR200, Cerium Oxide, Soft Scrub® and toothpaste should never be used on the interior glass surface.

Do not clean glass in direct sunlight.

Do not use newspaper to dry the glass surface as the ink may discolor the surrounding material.

Remove removable interior grilles before cleaning the glass.

Acid solutions used to wash masonry will damage the glass. Follow the acid solution manufacturer’s instructions carefully. Protect and/or cover the product during the cleaning process to prevent acid contact. If acid contacts the window or door unit, immediately wash all surfaces with clean water.

Do not use ethanol or other alcohol-based cleaning products or wipes.

Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents as they may cause damage to the unit.

Do not use ketones (MEK, MIBK) or xylene as a surface conditioner to clean the material's surface.

If a ladder or scaffolding is needed make sure the ladder or scaffolding is secure and care is taken during cleaning. Failure to do so may result in injury.

Power washing/pressure washing is not recommended.

Do not use metal razor blades.
