Folding handle hardware sets are available for Andersen® 400 Series casement and awning windows manufactured 1999 - Present and can be used to meet different design needs, including providing greater clearance for window treatments. Each handle hardware set works with both straight-arm operators and split-arm window operators.

Contemporary Hardware and Trim Stops

Contemporary folding hardware packages were introduced in 2007. Contemporary folding hardware packages can be used on either traditional or contemporary trim stops and because the profile of the trim stop styles are different, there is a specific contemporary hardware set for each one. This ensures the hardware sits properly on the window trim stop.

Folding Handle Operation

To operate a folding handle, lift the knob and open the handle fully until it clicks into place. Then, press the lines on the release button and pull outward to release the handle for folding. Lastly, fold the handle completely.
