If the double gliding insect screen on your gliding patio door is not locking and has a gap between the two (2) gliding insect screens the astragal kit may be missing.
Fix a Gap Between Insect Screen Door Panels on an Andersen® Patio Door
Andersen® 200 Series Narroline® and 400 Series Frenchwood® gliding patio doors offer the option of double gliding insect screens that lock together in the center on a four-panel patio door unit. The insect screen astragal kit is an item that is purchased separately. To cover the gap, you can order and install the astragal kit, see instructions below.

1. Order and Install an Astragal Kit
- Contact Andersen® Windows and Doors to order an astragal kit.
- The insect screen astragal kit includes the astragal, handle pulls, locking lever, and screws. The kit is ordered to match the exterior finish of the patio door.
- Once the astragal kit arrives, follow the instructions in the Insect Screen Astragal Accessory Installation Guide (0004194)
to properly install the astragal.

2. Still Having Trouble? Adjust the Insect Screen
If the astragal is installed and the gap still exists between the insect screens, the insect screen may need to be adjusted. Follow the adjustment instructions at Adjust or Replace Rollers on Andersen® Gliding Patio Door Insect Screens.
