Gliding patio door operating door panels can be adjusted up or down in the unit frame. Proper panel adjustments ensure optimal door performance.
To confirm if adjustments are needed:
Open the operating patio door panel slightly. Leave a narrow gap between it and the side jamb
View the gap from top to bottom. It should be equal. If not, this indicates that the operating patio door panel requires adjustment
To adjust the operating patio door panel, follow the instructions provided in the YouTube® video and the written instructions below. Written instructions are also available in the installation guides below

How to Replace and Adjust Rollers on Andersen® Gliding Patio Doors
Lock Adjustment for Gliding Patio Doors (1994 - 2005)
Remove the screws that secure the receiver into the side jamb
Slide the pin either side-to-side or up and down
Re-tighten the screws once the receiver is adjusted
Lock Adjustment for Gliding Patio Doors (Prior to 1994)
Patio doors manufactured prior to 1994 have an adjustment on the deadlock. To adjust, rotate the screw on the deadlock. Turn the screw counterclockwise to tighten or clockwise to loosen.
The replacement roller is not screwed in place but is pressure-fit. During installation, please remove the adjustment plugs to allow for the roller alignment, if needed.
