The latch receiver on the insect screen for an Andersen® 100 Series gliding patio door is adjustable, allowing for smooth locking operation. The keeper is located on the patio door's frame. Tools/Supplies Needed:

Safety Glasses

Philips Screwdriver

Replace

View the latch receiver on the side of the insect screen. 

Remove the two screws holding the screen latch receiver in place.

Position the new latch receiver into place.

Replace the two screws.

Adjust

View the latch receiver on the side of the insect screen. 

Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise toward the "-" position for a tighter fit.

Turn the adjustment screw clockwise toward the "+" position for a looser fit.
