Order Keyed Alike Exterior Locks for Andersen® Patio Doors

Homes with multiple Andersen® doors have the option for keyed-alike exterior locks, which allows a single key to open Andersen doors that have the same keyed cylinder.

New Andersen patio doors cannot be ordered to match existing keyed locks already in the home. However, new exterior keyed locks can be rekeyed to match the existing keyed locks. To have an exterior keyed lock rekeyed, we recommend contacting a local locksmith to make any adjustments to have the locks keyed alike. The adjustments needed will depend on the type of lock used in the other door and if the other lock is compatible with the Andersen lock cylinder.

The option of having keyed locks keyed-alike for a combination of gliding and hinged patio door products is not available through Andersen directly. We recommend contacting a local locksmith for assistance.

Replacement Parts

The exterior keyed lock is an accessory item added during or after the initial purchase of the patio door unit. When ordering keyed-alike exterior keyed locks, two (2) keys will come with each exterior keyed lock ordered. Additional blank keys can be ordered if needed, which can be cut by a local locksmith or hardware store to match the exterior keyed lock.
