The style of operator used on A-Series and 400 Series Awning windows differs depending on the window vintage. To determine the replacement operator required for the awning window, compare the operator currently installed in the window to the images and links below. Contact Andersen® Windows and Doors today for assistance with a quote for replacement parts.
400 Series Awning Windows (1966 - 1995)
If the current operator resembles the Amerock A3-7041 or A4-7041 operator below, the Amerock/Roto-Lock operator may be used as a replacement. The Amerock/Roto-Lock awning operator (1966-1995) is Stone in color and available in eleven-inch (11") arm and fifteen-inch (15") arm lengths. The operator handle
must be ordered separately.

400 Series Awning Windows (1976 - 1995)
If the current awning window operator resembles the Scissor-Type 1975 or Scissor-Type 1976 operators below, the Amerock/A21 Awning Operator (1976 - 1995) may be used as a replacement. The Amerock /A21 operator is Stone in color. The operator handle
must be ordered separately.

A-Series and 400 Series Awning Windows (1995 - Present)
Awning window straight-arm operators for units manufactured 1995 - Present are used on both A-Series and 400 Series awning windows. The operator cover and operator handle must be purchased separately, see Operator Handles and Covers for Andersen® A-Series and 400 Series Casement and Awning Windows (1995 - Present).
Operators Manufactured 1995 - 2008: The operator shoe was held on using an operator shoe screw
. Operators Purchased 2008 - Present: The operator's shoe is secured using a rivet. To replace the rivet or shoe, a replacement operator is required.
Awning Windows 1995 - 1998: An adaptor plate
is necessary for the proper installation of the replacement operator, see Operator Adaptor Plate Information.
