Guidelines for Properly Storing Andersen® Insect Screens

  • We recommend cleaning your insect screen(s) before storing them by following the instructions found in Clean Your Andersen® Insect Screen's Mesh and Frame.
  • Insect screen(s) should be properly supported during storage to prevent possible damage. Either:
    • Place the insect screen(s) against a flat, sturdy surface to help prevent bending and bowing of the insect screen mesh or frame.
    • Lay the insect screen(s) flat or upright, ensuring they are properly supported.
  • The storage area should be dry and well ventilated.
  • Make sure that no objects can fall on the insect screen(s).
  • Pressure should not be applied to the insect screen mesh or frame.
