Gliding patio doors manufactured 1966 - 1999 were available with the vintage handle sets below. To identify the date the gliding patio door was manufactured, use the Glass Type Identification for Andersen® Windows and Patio Doors.
Traditional Handle (1968 - 1978)
This handle is no longer available, it had a Silver Satin finish and was used on 2-panel Perma-Shield® gliding patio doors.
Traditional Silver Satin Handle - No Longer Available
Traditional Handle (1966 - 1999)
Interior and exterior handles are available in Stone or White.
Gliding Patio Door Handles
French Curve Handle (1988 - 1999)
French Curve handles were discontinued in 1999 and are no longer available. Use any current handle style as a replacement. To view available handle styles, see Gliding Patio Door Hardware Styles and Finish Options (1998 - Present).
Please note that French Curve handles are operational with current handles, and both the interior and exterior handles do not need to be replaced if only a single replacement handle is needed. The French Curve handle is applied using a stud and bolt, which are ordered as part of the trim set screw package .
Brass French Curve Handle - No Longer Available
Installation
